You’re capable.
Self-aware.
The one people rely on.

And lately, something feels off.

It’s not dramatic and nothing is falling apart. It’s very subtle.

You’re in between versions of yourself. What used to fit…doesn’t quite anymore. What’s next isn’t fully clear yet.

So you keep doing what you do so well:

  • You think about things – a lot
  • You stay on top of things – constantly
  • You keep things moving along – always

This retreat isn’t going to fix that.

What it will do is give you something you likely haven’t experienced in a long time – a space where you don’t have to manage everything, including yourself.

Who this is for

This is for you if…

  • You’re navigating a transition and don’t have clean answers yet

Maybe it’s a career shift, location change or you’re just feeling unsettled with life right now – if you’re feeling disoriented by life you belong here

  • You’re used to being emotionally strong for others

Carrying others’ emotional weight is physically exhausting, but you feel like you can’t stop doing it

  • You give support easily, but receiving it feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable

You’re the giver, not the ‘taker’ (because there are too many takers in this world am I right?)

  • You’re tired in a way that slowing down alone hasn’t solved

You pull back on how much you’re doing, but just “being” doesn’t feel right either

  • You’ve done meaningful inner work, but still feel caught in your head

Maybe you struggle to put everything you’ve learned from books and podcasts into day-to-day practice

EXPECTATIONS

If you’re looking for step-by-step direction, rigid structure, or a high-energy “girls’ trip” mini vacation, this won’t feel like a fit.

If what you’re craving is space to settle, to feel appreciated without needing to contribute anything, and to let something more honest emerge — keep reading.

Overview

What this experience feels like

Imagine waking up without something you have to immediately do. No pressure to optimize your morning. No expectation to be “on.”

You ease into the day at your own pace. A warm beverage, a light breakfast, a quiet conversation if you feel like it. Or not.

The day opens up as you choose to lean into it. You might take a walk, sit outside, journal, nap, participate in an activity – or choose to be quiet and to yourself. Nothing you do here needs to lead somewhere.

We have a leisurely lunch and in the afternoon we gather over a shared activity that invites easy connection, laughter, story-sharing and presence. It’s not mandatory, so if you want to opt-out you’re welcome to that.

In the evening after dinner, we gather around the fireside and connect in conversation with one another that feels relaxed and real. Sometimes that means depth. Sometimes it means laughter. And sometimes it means listening and saying very little – just being present.

Meals are prepared for you. You don’t need to plan, host, or manage anything.

Here, you are being cared for. For a few days, you get to experience what it feels like to be the one who is supported. That small shift can be more impactful than you expect.

What this retreat addresses

Most Women who find themselves feeling stuck don’t lack tools…

That stuck feeling is because they’ve learned to operate in a way that keeps them constantly engaged, responsible, and overextended. When our nervous systems normalize this survival frequency, the tools we have to ‘un-stuck’ ourselves don’t often work.

Over time, that shows up as:

  • Difficulty slowing down without feeling guilty
  • A tendency to overthink and second-guess yourself
  • A habit of supporting others without letting themselves be supported
  • A quiet exhaustion that doesn’t fully go away with rest

There’s also often a deeper layer where something is shifting – a transition of some kind – but the next stage hasn’t fully come into focus yet.

That in-between space doesn’t respond well to pressure or a step-by-step formula to get yourself out of it. It requires something different: less force, more space and more time for your nervous system to settle.

When that happens, clarity tends to come in a more natural, less effortful way.

The outcome

What can shift for you…

This retreat isn’t about leaving with a perfectly defined plan for your next phase and how to get there. What tends to change is more subtle and a lot more useful.

By the end of our time together, many women notice:

  • Their internal pace has slowed down
  • The urgency to “figure everything out” has softened
  • They feel more comfortable not having immediate answers
  • Their thinking is clearer, with less effort behind it
  • They feel more like themselves again
  • They’ve made new, meaningful connections and friendships they carry forward

The change comes from being in a different environment long enough for your system to begin recalibrating to a pace that is you – not what the world demands of you.

Logistics and Flow

We keep the structure intentionally light

Everything is invitational. You may participate fully, partially, or not at all. There’s no pressure to share or expectation to contribute something meaningful.

We design the retreat around the participants. Once you register and submit your deposit you’ll be asked to complete a light questionnaire that helps us understand where you are, what’s going well in your life and where you’re feeling stuck. We use this information, along with the responses from other attendees, to design and curate the retreat experience for the needs of the group.

That can include:

  • Casual, come-and-go continental style breakfast
  • Morning reflection or journaling prompts to seed thought for the day and reorient you to your inner voice
  • Unstructured time
  • Neighborhood walks
  • Chef-prepared lunches
  • Light group activities on- or off-site (E.g. cooking/food prep class, intuitive collaging or candle carving, etc.)
  • Chef-prepared dinners
  • Off-site dinner at a local restaurant
  • Evening fireside gatherings for conversation or guided reflection

Our retreat takes place in a charming, private chateau in Connecticut that was constructed in 1934. It’s nestled in a walkable, quiet neighborhood with a beautiful backyard for alfresco dining and a fire pit for evening gatherings in the cool, autumn air. The home also has a large dining room table and indoor, wood-burning fireplace should the weather not accommodate outdoor gathering. There are quiet nooks for reading, connecting over a card game or playing ping pong in the garage.

It’s quiet, comfortable, and intentionally simple.

  • There is space for 6 retreat attendees + 2 hosts
  • We’ll have shared meals (come-and-go continental-style breakfast, seated lunch/dinner and afternoon snack spread)
  • Space to be together or alone

The setting supports the experience, but it isn’t the focus. What matters most is how you feel while you’re here.

The value of your investment

  • The relaxed intimacy of a small, curated group of women gathering with shared intention and purpose
  • The quiet care and attention of hosts who get you
  • A carefully designed experience to support an internal shift
  • Leaving with less mental noise, less urgency to have your life figured out and more comfort with being in a transition period while the answers to your questions begin to take shape
  • New meaningful connections and friendships
  • A fully body exhale and feeling like yourself again

This is an investment in an experience that changes how you relate to yourself, which tends to have a longer impact than the few days you’re here.

What others have to say

“It was much more intimate, which I responded to much better. Any larger and I tend to move inward and avoid group conversations.” – Lorraine N.

“The morning questions and self reflection felt meaningful. I don’t like feeling pressured to contribute, but I also don’t want to change the energy dynamic of a group. For me, I am realizing that just being present and not feeling like I have to contribute anything is worth a lot. I never felt like I was expected to contribute here. I spoke up when I wanted to.” – Chris E.

“I like more active retreat experiences, but this retreat gave me something I didn’t know I needed. I liked the intimacy. I think because it’s small it has the opportunity to be more intimate.” – Cindy B.

  • Grace Sanchez

Hello, I’m Grace Sanchez, I consider myself an adventurous entrepreneur, fundraiser, and relationship builder with a deep love for people and meaningful connection. I have spent much of my professional career in philanthropy and fundraising. I own a grant writing and fund development consultancy, helping organizations secure transformative support to advance their missions.

I am also the owner of Hudson Naturals, a boutique skincare and soap company based in Newburgh, New York, where we create products centered on wellness, beauty, and intentional self-care. My entrepreneurial spirit extends to hospitality through a couple of Airbnb properties. I love welcoming and hosting people from around the world.

At the heart of it all is a deep passion for people. As a spiritual director, I enjoy holding sacred space for those seeking personal growth and transformation. As a compassionate and intuitive listener, I help people recognize insights they may have overlooked on their journey, offering encouragement, reflection, and support along the way.

Whether through philanthropy, entrepreneurship, hospitality, or spiritual direction, I am most fulfilled when creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and deeply cared for.

  • Natalie Burge

Hi, I’m Natalie and I work in the in-between spaces that therapists and coaches often overlook — the messy middle where it’s easy to get stuck. I create a reflective, contained space where you can slow down, stabilize, and return to yourself while navigating change in your life. When you’re in a life transition, the risk is spiraling, grasping for certainty, rushing to make decisions – and often abandoning yourself in the process. I help you stay steady enough to move through it without losing yourself.

My background is in qualitative research and product marketing, where I spent years interviewing people, deeply listening to what they had to say, and identifying patterns that would help translate complexity into clarity. My work is shaped not only by years of qualitative research and pattern recognition, but also by more than a decade of deep self-inquiry, shadow work, and learning how to integrate and embody what I’ve learned in day-to-day life.

In a highly customized, deeply human process, I draw from Jungian psychology, nervous system stabilization, qualitative reflection, and intuitive guidance. I don’t give you a formula or tell you what to do. I help you build the capacity to navigate whatever life throws at you – with steadiness, clarity, and a stronger sense of your own inner authority.

  • About Us

We’ve been friends since 2023 and have both spent years working closely with people in periods of transition. One thing we’ve consistently seen is that more insight into what’s going on is not always the solution. If you’re anything like us, sometimes you can over analyze yourself. We’ve found that a change in environment, including the people who surround us – even for a short period of time – can create new neural pathways that help shift something inside.

It’s the first step toward getting un-stuck.

That’s why we created a space where you can stop managing everything, settle in, connect with other women and ultimately begin to hear yourself again. That’s what this retreat is for.

FAQs

If I’m flying, do I need to book my own flights?
Yes, you’re responsible for booking your roundtrip airfare. The closest airport is Tweed New Haven (HVN), followed by Bradley International (BDL). Westchester/Fairfield (HPN) may also be a more convenient option than JFK or LGA. If you elect to fly, please also secure your rental car or taxi service to the property address and plan to arrive between 3-5 p.m. on October 15 so that you don’t miss any of the retreat experiences. No airport transfer services will be provided.

Can I bring a friend/partner/spouse with me?

Yes, and your guest must participate in the retreat. If your guest elects to purchase one of the twin beds in the shared twin bedroom, they would pay the $1,200 retreat charge for one of those beds. If you purchase a queen bedroom and want to add your guest to your room (sharing the queen bed) that will be an additional $700 added to your $1,400 retreat payment.

Is there a payment plan?
Yes! Payment plans are available to make this a full-body yes for you. A non-refundable deposit of $500 will secure your spot, and the remaining balance can be split into installments. Final payment of the balance must be received by Oct. 1, 2026

What if something comes up and I can’t attend or have to cancel?
All retreat deposits are non-refundable. However, you may be able to transfer your spot to another woman if needed. Any cancellation made between 48 hours after registering will result in a loss of 50% of the trip price until 60 days before trip departure. Any cancellations after 60 days through the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do, your deposit is refunded in full).

Do I need travel insurance to attend this retreat?
Travel insurance is recommended to protect your investment and provide peace of mind in the event of unexpected changes. You may source a policy through your preferred insurance carrier.

What if I don’t feel comfortable opening up?
You won’t be asked to share anything you don’t want to. Being present is enough.

What if I need time alone?
You’ll have plenty of it. The structure allows for both solitude and connection.

Why Connecticut?
The location was chosen for its simplicity and quiet. It supports slowing down without distraction.

How should I pack?
We’ll send an email about packing a couple of weeks prior to your departure. October temperatures in New Haven can range between 55ºF–70ºF during the day and dip to ~42ºF at night. We anticipate cool and dry autumn weather and a casual, relaxed aesthetic that emphasizes layering, jackets and sweaters for comfort.

Will my dietary needs be accommodated?
Provided that you share all your dietary specifications with us by Oct. 1, we can accommodate those for the duration of the retreat.

If I have other needs (accessibility, sensory, etc.) will those be accommodated?
Please reach out to the retreat hosts 1gracesanchez@gmail.com and natalieburgecoaching@gmail.com with more information regarding these other needs.

How many people will be attending the retreat?
The house can hold a maximum of 6 retreat participants and 2 hosts.

How do I know if I’m ready for this?
If you’re in a transition and feel stuck between pushing forward and needing space, this tends to be the exact time this kind of environment is most helpful.

Is this open to women of all ages?
Women 21 years and older are welcome to apply.

Will there be alcohol at this retreat?
Wine will be available during lunch, afternoon snack and dinner service. We will also offer non-alcoholic beverages. Our goal is to provide a relaxed, social atmosphere and alcohol is entirely optional. We expect all retreat attendees to know their limits, consume in moderation and act responsibly and professionally.

What about smoking, vaping or other recreational drugs?
This retreat is a smoke- and drug-free environment. Smoking, vaping or other drug use is not permitted in the house or on the property.

What if I’m in the shared twin room and I feel uncomfortable with one of the other guests staying in the room?
Please let one of the retreat hosts know of your concern and to the best of our ability, we will attempt to provide a reasonable solution.

Will what I share during this retreat be confidential?
Our goal in this retreat is to create a safe container that is also confidential. We ask all participants to commit to a ‘covenant of confidentiality’ where personal stories shared within the context of the retreat stay within the group. The only exception is a physical safety concern. This is a voluntary space and ultimately you decide what you feel comfortable sharing with others.

What kind of information are you gathering in the pre-retreat survey?
We create highly-customized retreats designed for the needs of the group. The questionnaire you will complete after you submit your deposit is an invitation to be honest with yourself and us about where you are in your life right now, what’s feeling aligned or misaligned, and what kind of support you’re longing for.

We analyze the responses from everyone who commits to the retreat and identify themes that emerge in the data. Then we design the retreat experiences and topics around those trends so it feels relevant and resonant for each participant.

I have more questions, who may I talk to?
Either Grace or Natalie are happy to jump on a call and speak with you. Email them both at 1gracesanchez@gmail.com and natalieburgecoaching@gmail.com and someone will reach out to you to set up a call.

If any of this resonates with you…

Apply below.

We’ll have a short conversation to make sure it’s the right fit.

Remember, you don’t need to push through this phase.

You need space that allows something new to emerge.
